The Rings
Cendelínová, Kateřina ; Záhora, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (advisor)
The project with the title “The Rings” is a simple card game designed for two players. The theme and content of the game is thematically related to rings, which I have been working on for a long time (also on the material level of jewellery making). The card game can be played by players of any age, but I primarily targeted preschool and school-age children. The aim of my bachelor thesis is to introduce children to the craft of ring making in a fun way. An important element of the visual part of the game is the recognition of the images (illustrations) and their correct composition. This leads to the application of stylized drawings that illustrate selected parts of the ring-making process.
Sliding contact in electrical machine
Bernard, Ivo ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Veselka, František (advisor)
The work deals with the sliding contact of electrical machines. The work is focused on individual components of sliding contact and the evaluation qualitative criterions of certain components of sliding contact. In the final section is presented a comparative method that has been designed for large machines. In this work we used this method on a small machine.
Development of gymnastics equipment and its influence on changes in gymnastics exercises
Nedvědová, Romana ; Kašpar, Ladislav (advisor) ; Kainová, Lucie (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to focus on the origin and development of gymnastics equipment and the changes in movement content over the years. All the competition apparatus of men and women in artistic gymnastics are presented. In addition to the construction and movement development, significant names of men and women who excelled on each apparatus at the specific time are mentioned for each apparatus. The thesis also includes a description of the origins and development of gymnastics, including the history of physical education systems in the world and in our country. The bachelor thesis is solved on the basis of the application of historical methods. KEYWORDS Gymnastics, evolution, history, exercise, equipment, vault, uneven bars, balance beam, floor, pommel horse, rings, horizontal bar
Dynamical processes in Jupiter's and Saturn's ring systems
Řehák, Matyáš ; Brož, Miroslav (advisor) ; Hanuš, Josef (referee)
The main subject of this thesis is a review of dynamical processes acting in Jupiter's and Saturn's rings. The thesis is divided into three chapters. Observed orbital and physical characteristics of the rings are described in the first one. In Chapter 2, we discuss physical processes forming the rings. Tidal disruptions, mutual collisions of ring particles, meteoroid bombardment and ballistic transport are among them. Various electromagnetic effects are analyzed too - e.g. the Poynting-Robertson effect, the Lorentz resonaces, plasma drag and radiation pressure. Yet another types of phenomena are resonant gravitational influence of satellites, shepherding moons and also collective dynamics of ring particles which results in formation of spiral waves. Finally, there is a review of theories concerning the origin of Saturn's rings in Chapter 3. We can distinguish three types of models - a disruption of a moon, a disruption of an external body and a formation from protolunar matter. At present, a tidal disruption of large differentiated moon seems to be the most probable theory.

Scheme of metodology of simple gymnastic skill training on the first stage - horizontal bar, pul lup and small balance beams\\
BALÁŠOVÁ, Olga
This diploma thesis focueses on a composition of training simple gymnastic exercises including bar and balance beam exercises and climbing for students of an elementary school and its use in practice. This methodology was applied to a chosen class of an elementary school. The main aims were to find the level of skills through the input tests then to make a progress after application of the composed methodology and finally to find the level of skills through the output tests. The thesis consists of 20 complete lesson plans of the particular lessons just as they were done. It should open up the issue of training simple gymnastic skills and to help teachers to make their P. E. Lessons attractive.
